Established in 2006, Bawan Holding Co. is an industrial holding company that aims to strategically expand by acquiring building material & industrial companies. Merging Al Fozan and Al Muhaidib Wood & Steel Industries, this company is engaged in production and sale of wood products and import of all related primary products, as well, manufacturing of fencing meshes and accessories and cutting and forming metals.

Initially established as a producer of basic wood and steel products, the respective groups  began commercial operations in this field in the 1980's.  Since then, through major expansions, the Company's complex now consists of 6 principal factories.

A fundamental strength that BAWAN has enjoyed in its years of operations has been its ability to efficiently operate its plants to maximise its competitive position.  All of the plants are currently operating at or close to design capacity.  BAWAN’s sales comprise six principal products:

•    Straight steel bars and welded wire mesh are mainly sold to building material traders.
•    Cut & bend steel bars are mainly sold to civil contractors.
•    Corrugated pre-painted sheet are mainly sold to commercial steel traders.
•    WP and packaging.
•    Decorative boards (regular boards, melamine boards, polyester boards, T. Groove boards, wooden ground boards and special profile boards).
•     Shuttering plywood boards
