AlFozan Social Foundation was awarded the Real Estate Excellence Award in the Affordable Housing category, in recognition of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility. The award was presented during a ceremony sponsored by His Excellency Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority, as part of the Real Estate Excellence Award (REA) ceremony. The event was organized by the Real Estate General Authority in collaboration with the International Real Estate Federation, on the sidelines of the Future of Real Estate Forum 2026, and was attended by a number of senior officials and leading regional and international experts. 
 
This recognition highlights the impact of the AlFozan Affordable Housing Project, which has served as a practical model for providing suitable housing solutions to low-income families, contributing to improved quality of life and enhanced social stability. 
 
Launched in 2009, the project is one of the flagship community initiatives of AlFozan Social Foundation. It consists of 10 residential buildings comprising 178 housing units, designed to provide a safe and stable living environment that meets the needs of beneficiary families and supports the concept of sustainable affordable housing. 
 
In line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in empowering the non-profit sector and enhancing social sustainability, the Foundation signed a cooperation agreement in 2021 with the Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan) to provide housing solutions for beneficiaries of the Jood Eskan . 
 
In 2023, the project was fully donated to Sakan, which currently oversees its management and operation, ensuring the sustainability of its social impact and the achievement of its developmental objectives over the long term.
