His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province and Chairman of the Eastern Province Development Authority, patronized the ceremony honoring the partners and supporters of Khobar Season 2025, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, Vice Chairman of the Authority, and Chairman of the Steering Committee for Khobar Season.

His Royal Highness emphasized that the tourism sector’s strong support and attention from the Kingdom’s leadership—may God preserve them—have contributed to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as an attractive tourist destination, developing tourism infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of experiences and services provided to visitors. He also noted that the Eastern Province possesses diverse tourism, cultural, and economic assets that have reinforced its status as a destination for investment and tourism, thanks to its distinctive sites, facilities, and variety of tourism options.

For his part, the Acting CEO of the Eastern Province Development Authority, Dr. Talal bin Nabil Al-Maghlooth, delivered a speech expressing his appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for their continued support of initiatives and quality events in the region.

Dr. Al-Maghlooth explained that the season, launched as part of the “Saudi Winter 2025” program, ran from October 23, 2025, to March 28, 2026. It featured more than 185 diverse events across 12 locations and attracted over 2.3 million visitors. Hotel occupancy rates during the season reached as high as 90%, reflecting the tourism and economic momentum witnessed in Al Khobar throughout the season.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province honored the supporters and success partners in recognition of their contributions and support toward the success of the season.
