Al Khobar, May 2025
Al Fozan Academy for the Development of Nonprofit Leadership celebrated the graduation of the inaugural cohort of Master of Nonprofit Management Program (MNPM), launched in 2023 as the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This specialized academic program is a strategic initiative aimed at preparing leaders in the nonprofit sector according to the highest global academic standards and best practices.
MNPM program is distinguished by awarding dual degrees from two esteemed institutions: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and Indiana University. Nine students successfully completed the program, becoming the first group of qualified leaders poised to contribute to the development and future of the nonprofit sector in the Kingdom.
Spanning two academic years, the program is designed with a flexible executive format to accommodate working professionals, with classes held on weekends. The curriculum is delivered by a distinguished group of local and international experts in philanthropy and nonprofit management. It encompasses specialized courses covering key topics such as fundraising, nonprofit law, nonprofit economics, and professional ethics. The program offers a blend of academic and practical learning experiences, along with scholarship opportunities for outstanding students.
This milestone underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing the nonprofit sector and aligns with the broader objectives of Vision 2030.
