Eastern Province Governor Sponsors Graduation of First Cohort of Al-Fozan Program Trainees

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, presided over the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of trainees from the Al-Fozan Program for Professional Excellence, specializing in the Assistant Teacher track for individuals with autism. The event took place on Tuesday at the Emirate's Diwan.
Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shami, Secretary-General of the Al-Fozan Program for Community Service, emphasized the program's commitment to community development and empowerment by providing impactful, high-quality support. He highlighted the program's dedication to developing specialized initiatives for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) that address current challenges and promote sustainability. Al-Shami congratulated the forty graduates and extended his sincere gratitude to all contributors to the success of the Al-Fozan Program for Professional Excellence.
Mr. Hassan Al-Jasser, CEO of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Development Fund, underscored the importance of developing and qualifying national cadres in humanitarian fields. He noted that the program reflects the fund's commitment to creating career paths that directly enhance the quality of services provided to individuals with autism.
Al-Jasser reviewed the program's three-month journey, which combined theoretical and practical training. He mentioned the signing of employment agreements with specialized centers, including Afaq Center, Sawt Specialized Center, and Shamaa Autism Rehabilitation Company.
Ms. Hana Al-Zuhair, Deputy CEO of the fund, expressed her pride in graduating the first cohort, affirming that the program offered a comprehensive experience that integrated knowledge and practical application.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness honored the trainees and endorsed the signing of several agreements supporting employment and professional qualification.
