Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province witnesses the signing of six agreements to support social responsibility programs
The Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, witnessed the signing of six partnerships and cooperation agreements between Sipchem and associations specialized in social responsibility programs and charitable work in the presence of the General Director of the Branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Eastern Province, Abdulrahman bin Fahd Al-Muqbel.
The Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province stressed the importance of the private sector's support for social responsibility projects and charitable works and their contribution to community service; by supporting quality programs offered by distinguished associations.
The agreements signed at the Emirate's Court included various projects and programs, including a social partnership project with The Computer Refurbishment Charitable Organization (Ertiqa), Ertiqa's Voluntary Program, which extends for five years.
The partnership aims to achieve leadership in volunteering programs by building, designing, and implementing professional programs for volunteers in various fields.
Ertiqa seeks to establish a sustainable volunteer center that contributes to capacity-building and exchange of experiences to achieve the goal of one million volunteers, in line with the aspirations of "Vision 2030."
